House of Riwayat began in January 2024 in Toronto, Canada—born from a simple dream of creating something deeply personal and meaningful. After living there for nearly three years, I knew I wanted to build a brand that reflected my roots and individuality.
One day, I realized my love for jewellery wasn’t just a passion—it was a calling. At the same time, I noticed that what was often sold as “Indian jewellery” in Western markets didn’t truly capture its beauty or authenticity. I wanted to change that—to showcase Indian jewellery as it really is: intricate, high-quality, and breathtaking.
And so, House of Riwayat was created. “Riwayat” means tradition, and as one of my Arabic customers shared, it also means “stories”—which felt perfect, because this brand is exactly that: a story being told through every piece.
From the start, our focus has been simple—quality jewellery, affordable pricing, and true inclusivity. Jewellery that fits everyone, in every way.
What began with small pop-ups in Canada quickly grew into a global community of over 3,000 customers. In August 2025, I moved back to India and decided to take things further—reimagining our designs to stand out in a market where jewellery is everywhere. With new, modern collections and exhibitions, the journey hasn’t been easy, but the love we’ve received has made it all worth it.
Today, House of Riwayat is more than a brand—it’s a growing community. And now that you’re here, you’re a part of our story too.
